Beer Review: Ba’ Heid Bru

Beer Name: Ba’ Heid Bru

Brewery: Innocente

Style: Scottish Ale

ABV: 7%

Aroma: smoke

Appearance: Cloudy dark brown

Flavour: Tastes like a stout infused with the Iron Girders used in the making of Irn Bru. Complimented with the spices from the Haggis. This has got to be one of the most unique beers ever made.

Mouthfeel: Sharp

Finish: Spicy Chilli finish

Notes: Can taste the Irn Bru undertones, a strangely popular drink in the Highlands

Best for: Addressing the Haggis for Burns night

Rating: 9.0/10
